some problems about Serial RapidIO

I want to use the serial RapidIO Core(verion 4.2) and some problems need to be solved. The srio_phy_v4_2 core is only used. When I wanted to use the lnk_td port to transmit the data, I found the output port, txdata, can't do what it should.
I now know it was because of the output port ,port_initialized , which means the core has been initialized. The port port_initialized was not 1 but 0.
OK, the problem is there. How could I initialize the core ? Or can the core do it by itself?
Thanks.

port_initialized should assert when everything is setup correctly (clocking, link partner, resets, etc). Try running the example simulation to see port_init go high correctly and compare your design from there.
