We bought two KC705 development kits. I plugged one board into an HP Z210 Zeon workstation runnng RHEL 6.5. The OS recognizes the card when I type lspci.
We are starting development with the base TRD (rdf0281-kc705-base-trd-2014-3.zip), so we are trying to get it up and running. Therefore, after the board was recognized by the system, I tried to compile the drivers per UG882. The problem is, the system accepts "make clean" and "make", but reboots when we get to "make insert."
We've tried this as root, and after multiple reboots, but this happens every time. I have tried powering the KC705 off the PC's power supply using the included 4-pin to 6-pin adapter, and powering the KC705 with the power brick that comes with the kit - same result, so I doubt it's a system power issue.

Did you measure supply voltage rails ? What are the values?
If any supply problem /board problem exists then the following debug checklist answer record http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/50079.html helps.

The board works with the fedora 16 live dvd ... is there a way to get this board working with a 64 bit redhat 6.5?
