Hi all,
I recently got a Nexys4 DDR board. When I tried to test it, there seemed to be no target detected:
I tried to reinstall the usb-jtag driver by following the solution:
https://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/59128.html
But didn't work. My vivado version is 2017.2.
Can anyone who worked with this device before offer any advice?
Thanks a lot.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply.
I am using Windows 8.1. I had tried to reinstall the driver before I posted this topic but it didn't work.
This morning I figured out that the simplest solution was to install Vivado 2015.1 and the diligent board worked well. For Vivado 2014.2 and 2017.2, it didn't. I will try later by installing the windriver then.
Best

Hey @conanandai100,
If I remember correctly, the Digilent boards require the Digilent Adept drivers to be properly recognized.
Maybe this helps,

Hi Herbert,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Yes, I used to have a Nexys2, which worked well with digilent adept. But this Nexys4 DDR didn't, with a "No Device Connected" in the GUI. That's why I am a little bit confused now.
I checked the jumper of JP1 also, which is on the JTAG mode.

You're wecome!

Depending on the operating system there can be problems with access rights and usb device configurations.
Last time I used it, the djtgcfg tool was very helpful in narrowing down the problem.
Hope this helps,
Herbert
