Rewriting configuratin data and SEM IP

I have a design using SEM IP.
In this design, I am trying to rewrite the configuration data in SPI Flash memory by FPGA itself.
If the Error Correction Method of SEM IP is set to replace, will the SEM IP detect an error if the configuration data is rewritten?

Re: Rewriting configuratin data and SEM IP

You can read about arbiter logic in PG187. This will make sure SEM IP is in IDLE mode when you are performing any user related functions.
The ICAP Arbitration Interface simplifies the ability of your design to manage the SEM controller access to the ICAP or share the ICAP with other blocks and ensure safer hand-off of the ICAP controls. Ideally, this interface is used with a user-defined ICAP arbite.
When the controller enters the Idle state, it disables the built-in configuration memory scan and checks. Therefore, SEU events are not detected or corrected by the IP.
Don’t forget to reply, kudo, and accept as solution.
