Hi,

I am designing a system with a Spartan 6 LX16 and would like to use a standard micro SD card in SPI mode instead of an on board flash rom to configure the FPGA.

Any suggestion why it may not work?

Anyone tried it before?

The reason is it is easier to change configuration without having to use an ISP programmer etc.

Update configuration via snail mail :-)

We don't have SD card as boot option for Spartan 6 devices. You can either use SPI or BPI flashes for indirectly programming the devices.
