MIG - Not evaluation board supported - what to do?

Hi,

I have the Virtex 5 evaluation board. Seems that the MIG does not support this board.

What to do?

Is it possible to change the UCF file manually to change the LOC pins in order to connect to the real DDR2 pins following the schematics?

Thanks

Omar

Yes, MIG let's you specify a custom placement for the pins.  One of the last panels in the MIG customization GUI asks whether you want MIG to automatically pick the placement or if you want to do it manually.

Re: MIG - Not evaluation board supported - what to do?

One additional note on this direct pin selection feature in MIG: it will only work if the original board layout meets the requirements of the MIG design.  Otherwise it will not pass the rule check and not allow you to create the design.

Which board specifically is this?  Does it have a part number or board number?
