Licensing issue: ZCU106 license for compiling xczu6eg device

Jump to solution

Hi,

We have some license issues for compiling a xczu6eg device base design and we were wondering if a ZCU106  license enables us to compile a FPGA design which uses a xczu6eg device ?

The ZCU106 has a xczu7ev. Do we need to buy a particular license or the ZCU106 one covers all xczu (or at least xczu6eg) devices ?

If a particular license is needed, which license should we buy ? As we have to work on it soon, is it possible to get a trial first ?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

user@moduleus Xilinx offers the FREE Vivado Design Suite WebPACK Edition which supports the following Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC and Zynq-7000 AP SoC devices but does NOT support the XCZU6EG.  Please reference https://www.xilinx.com/products/design-tools/vivado/vivado-webpack.html#architecture.

You will need to purchase the Vivado Design Suite Design Edition for XCZU6EG support.  If you require the Xilinx Add-on for MATLAB & Simulink, you would want to purchase the Vivado Design Suite System Edition.  Please reference https://www.xilinx.com/products/design-tools/vivado/vivado-webpack.html#webpack.
