Hi everyone, I'm a newbie and I have just install Vivado in Ubuntu 12.04. Everything went smooth during installation and I have succesfully run settings64.sh shell script but when I try to run vivado in a console this error is displayed:
ERROR: [Common 17-356] Failed to install all user apps.
Any ideas how to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Hi
There is a known issue which is expected to be fixed in 2015.1
This problem could occur when support and/or tclapp directories are missing in your $HOME/.Xilinx/Vivado/2014.4/XilinxTclStore.

Satish,
Thanks for your reply. I checked the directories and I have the tclapp directory in $HOME/.Xilinx/Vivado/2014.4/XilinxTclStore but I do not have the support directory. Should I add it?
I also tried tclapp::reset_tclstore but I got this message:
ERROR: [Common 17-1256] Could not remove local Tcl Store from '/home/mauro/.Xilinx/Vivado/2014.4/XilinxTclStore'. Please close any program which still acceses this area.
ERROR: [Common 17-39] 'tclapp::reset_tclstore' failed due to earlier errors.
I don't have any program open using this area. Any ideas?
Thanks!

This solved my problem also. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit in a virtual environment.
I thought I had given permissions to all the folders but I guess not to .Xilinx/Vivado.
