Before I pay the $3000, what ISE programs are included in the Vivado Design edition? The website leads me to believe that its the ISE Embedded Edition, but I'd like to be sure. I'll be maintaining some Spartan3E designs that require the EDK. Also, does it include ChipScope?

Just to clarify before buying:
"The ISE Design Suite Embedded and System Edition are now available as part of the Vivado Design Suite."
The Vivado Design Edition includes all license features of ISE System Edition, without the System Generator for DSP?
And a floating license of Vivado Design Edition is full compatible with ISE 14.7?

Starting in Vivado 2014.1, ISE and Vivado licensing entitlements were separated. Vivado uses new activation based license, which is not compatible with ISE.
Anyway, you still get an ISE license with a new Vivado purchase. In other words, tool purchases after 2014.1 launch will receive:
As mentioned ealier, Vivado Design Edition is mapped to ISE Embedded Edition (yes, all features except System Generator for DSP of ISE System Edition).

I have just purchased Vivado Design Edition (Node Locked) license at online store and expected to receive ISE license too. I've managed to install the vivado license but can't find the ISE license on the product licensing page.
Your previous message suggests that it should be in the "Certificate Based Licenses" list on the "Product Licensing" webpage that appears after starting license manager, there is no ISE license there!
I've also tried returning Vivado license - ISE license does not appear.

Same issue here. Giving out the certificate for ISE doesn't seem to happen automatically. Waiting to hear from "customer service" right now...
