Bit file to faster mcs, whereby I can't alter bitfile settings

Hello all,

I've been handed a bit file for the kcu105.

The people that generated the bitfile didn't bother with bitstream config commands.

I've been able to turn the bitfile into a .msc using the following commands

write_cfgmem -format MCS -interface SPIx1 -size 256 -loadbit "up 0x0 $bitfile" $mscfile.

Can i change clock speed/spi size? I did try with interface spix4 & got the following message

ERROR: [Writecfgmem 68-20] SPI_BUSWIDTH property is set to "1" on bitfile C:/Users/wesleyt/Documents/Project/FPC02/chip_top.bit. This property has to be set to "4" to generate a configuration memory file for the SPIX4 interface. Please ensure that a valid value has been set for the property BITSTREAM.Config.SPI_buswidth and rerun this command.

The generation of the bit file is out of my hands unfortunately.

Regards,

Wes
