app_rdy de-asserts for high temperature and stays low

Jump to solution

I'm ruining some tests on a DDR3 chip with the MIG7 controller on a Kintex7 FPGA.

The XADC module is enabled inside the MIG7 controller.

For temperatures below 60c every thing works OK.

When the temperature reaches 60-65c I can see that the "app_rdy" signal goes low and remains low until the FPGA is reprogrammed.

Any ideas what could be wrong and how to fix it?

Hello,

Thanks for the support, there was an issue with something different in the end.

Once this issue was fixed, the temperature stopped affect the DDR.

is this happening with your custom design or the example design?

I would try the example design and see what temp the device get up to.

here was another post on this in teh past i am not sure f some of this maybe related.
