I'm trying to implement 6 GPIO 11-bit wide bi-directional instances on a Spartan 3E 500k pq208 FPGA. I'm running ISE 9.2i, and EDK 9.2i.
While running the Synthesize, I get the following errors:
ERROR:HDLParsers:3278 - Can't write file "xst/proc_common_v2_00_a/sub00/vhpl53.vho": No such file or directoryERROR:HDLParsers:309 - Can not overwrite the object file in library proc_common_v2_00_a.ERROR:MDT - Aborting XST flow execution!ERROR:MDT - platgen failed with errors!ERROR: synthesizing XPS module failed!
During the BSB wizard I could only add 5 GPIO instances. After the BSB, I trimmed the address range to 16k, and deleted the ports I didn't need (I only need the IO port), and added a 6th port.
Anybody got any ideas on how to bypass this error?
