Build Petalinux with dropbear SSH server

I'm using the petalinux SDK to build images for use on the ZYNQ-7000 zc702 board. I'd like to build an image which runs an ssh server so I can talk to it over the local network.

I see that the petalinux sdk comes with a number of .deb files relevant to dropbear in the packages repo. I'm not at all sure how to use these with petalinux and haven't been able to find anything while browsing.

How would I go about using these correctly in a petalinux build to get a working ssh server on the ZYNQ?

you need to change your rootfile system to add busybox, dropbear etc and create the /etc hierarchy to run after boot:
