Preferred solution to reset a specific IP block from PS

Jump to solution

What is the preferred solution for providing a reset signal to a specific IP block (without resetting everything or everything on the AXI bus)?

The solution I've found that works is to simply use one bit of the AXI interface registers as a reset signal, but I'm wondering if there's a cleaner way.

Thanks!

@tteisberg using one of the bits in the control register in axi register set is the usual solution. It keeps the address space clean and things related close to each other.

@tteisberg Perhaps you could use GPIO
