ZC706 PS Ethernet to sfp

hello all,

    I have a ZC706 board with a Zynq 7045 that I am developing on. I want to test ps emio sfp ethernet funtion. 

    I found XAPP1082 in the xilinx website and download reference design files. 

    I copy boot.bin and image.ub files which are contained in read_to_test/ps_emio_eth_1000base-x folder into SD card.

    Then I switch to SD Mode and short the J17 with jumper to enable SFP.

     When I power up the board, linux can work, but PHY is not detected, and ethernet can not link with PC.

     Where am I wrong? Would anyone help me?

Make sure you are using correct SFP cage adapter  and RJ45 cables- for 1G 1000BASE-X validation, Cisco GLC-T 1000BASE-X Ethernet to SFP Module is used(SN : AGM170623ZT).For 1G SGMII validation, Cisco GLC-T 1000BASE-T 100m RJ45 Ethernet to SFP Module is used(SN : CLS10310606) to be used.
