I want to run a simple vector add OpenCL code on ZCU-102 board. Is there a guide that I can follow?

Re: How can I run OpenCL code on ZCU102 board?

@gtushar

use SDx i.e Sdsoc, Sdaccel tool which supports design entry in OpenCL
https://www.xilinx.com/products/design-tools/software-zone.html
you can find example here

https://github.com/Xilinx/SDSoC_Examples
https://github.com/Xilinx/SDAccel_Examples

ZCU102 board device has MPSOC. So you required to use Sdsoc design flow

Thanks and Regards

Re: How can I run OpenCL code on ZCU102 board?

@balkris

When I try to run "make" in the SDSoC vector_add example design. It gives me this error:

aarch64-linux-gnu-g++ -o 'build/zcu102_hw/vadd' src/host.cpp ../../..//libs/xcl2/xcl2.cpp -I /runtime/include/1_2/ -I//Vivado_HLS/include/ -O2 -g -Wall -fmessage-length=0 -std=c++14 -lxilinxopencl -lpthread -lrt -ldl -lcrypt -lstdc++ -L/runtime/lib/aarch64 -I../../..//libs/xcl2
make: aarch64-linux-gnu-g++: Command not found
Makefile:57: recipe for target 'build/zcu102_hw/vadd' failed
make: *** [build/zcu102_hw/vadd] Error 127

Re: How can I run OpenCL code on ZCU102 board?

I am new to SDAccel and OpenCL.

I just ran the makefile provided with the SDSoC example design.

Where can I find the created Xilinx project ?

Also, how do I run the CPU emulation of the Kernel code?

Re: How can I run OpenCL code on ZCU102 board?

Hi @gtushar

This forum is for SDSoC which is for ZCU102 and embedded software in general. Please post the SDAccel questions to the SDAccel forum:

@gtushar
Please take a look at the examples provided with the tool. You can find them when you create new SDx Project under SDx Examples.
