MGTAVCC_L, MGTAVTT_L and MGTVCCAUX_L connected to GND for XCKU060

Hello.

I have ported a design from XCKU040 to a compatible XCKU060. Both with package FFVA1156.

I am not using GTH banks 127 and 128 of XCKU060 (they don`t exist in XCKU040), so I have connected MGTAVCC_L, MGTAVTT_L and MGTVCCAUX_L of XCKU060 to GND.

Some high-speed links are not linking in IBERT (only 5 banks used for it), but if I switch on internal loop-back then it is ok.

Is it possible that GND connection to MGTAVCC_L, MGTAVTT_L and MGTVCCAUX_L is reponsible for this behaviour ?

Thank you for any hint.

Marian

No if mgtavcc were grounded where it was needed the affected GT wouldn't work at all.  There is some other problem on this.  Can you test with IBERTS in the 1 Gbps range to help determine if it is a signal integrity problem.

I have made IBERT test with 1 Gbps and it is even worse,  3 more links are not working.
