Jump to solution
  1. Serial Transceiver Forum Guidelines

Note: When initiating a forum post, please don’t forget to mention the following details at the start:

  • Vivado Version (e.g. 2018.2, 2019.2 etc.)
  • Device Family (e.g. Virtex Ultrascale+, Kintex Ultrascale, MPSoC etc.)

Please post it in the forum with the details of the investigation you have done, screenshots of ILA waveforms (if applicable), screenshots of error messages, screenshot of document if you are referring to a specific section or paragraph, block diagram of your design (if can be shared),system details such as which link partner is being used etc. The detailed information will be extremely helpful for the community and for us to try and provide you useful information to debug your issue.

Note: If you have any debugging techniques/tips, please feel free to create a new post with the details of your experience using the Serial Transceiver. This will be helpful for the community and will also be a very good feedback for us to improve our product and documentation. We would really appreciate your help.

Like any community, they are most valuable when everyone obeys certain basic guidelines and rules. These guidelines and rules are presented here so that you know what is expected of you and what you can expect from other participants when using the Xilinx User Community and the Serial Transceiver  Forum.

  1. Read and follow the Xilinx Community Guidelines
  2. Before you post a question:
  1. Don't post the same question on multiple forums. Note that duplicated topic might be deleted by moderators.
  2. Do not post a question on someone else's topic. Create a new topic if you have an issue. It might not be the same issue
  3. Do not use words like "Urgent" or "Important" in the title. You won't get any priority over another member. Note that moderator might edit your post in such case.
  4. Everyone can give Kudos, please feel free to give Kudos to users if you want to thank them for helping you and you find their reply useful. Also use kudos if a post helped you even if it was not on one of your topics
  5. When the topic or question is fixed, please click Accept As a Solution. This helps future users find answers and keeps the forum operating efficiently
  1. Useful Example Designs and Debug Guides
