tuning of GTH transceiver

I am using zynq ultrascale xczu7ev-fbvb900-i with two fmc cards for tuning gth transceiver.

after detecting the serial links ,inorder to set error to zero tx pre and post cursor needs to changed.

what is tx pre cursor n post cursor and how will i change the values of it to set error zero?

Hello

please refer to UG476

in particular, pre and post cursors are driven by ports TXPRECURSOR, TXPOSTCURSOR (please see pag 156)

They are needed to compensate for deterministic, pattern and channel dependent jitter or Inter Symbolic Interference.

The above reference guide(UG476) you mentioned is for 7 series .is it the same for ultrascale too?

you are absolutely right - for some reason I was thinking to 7-Series GTX in my answer.
