VDMA simulation im Questasim error

Hi All,

I am trying simulate the VDMA in questasim (not invoking in vivado by changing setting).

I am getting following compilation error messages,

#** Error: ../../../../../interconnect_rtl_files/fifo_generator_v13_0_rfs.vhd(55)): in protected region.
# ** Error: ../../../../../interconnect_rtl_files/fifo_generator_v13_0_rfs.vhd(55)): in protected region.
# ** Error: ../../../../../interconnect_rtl_files/fifo_generator_v13_0_rfs.vhd(55)): in protected region.
# ** Error: /atria_data2/questasim/questa_core/questa_sim/linux_x86_64/vcom failed.
# Error in macro ./scripts/compile.do line 53

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Can you please share the modelsim.ini file?
How are you compiling simulation libraries for the questasim?
