VGA interface problem

I have using Spartan 3AN FPGA with Xilinx IDE 13.4.

I am working with VGA and displaying colors on the monitor. It worked fine Yesterday.

1. But when I remove the VGA male connector from the female port in the FPGA , I can still see the red led light glow for for the connection indication on the VGA.

2. Now , After this,  I am getting this error

iMPACT:923 - Can not find cable, check cable setup !

I am not able to see the JTAG logo when i do a scan chain in the Impact, I tried to unplug and plug the cable. But still it shows the same error.

I don't know what is the ploblem , If you have faced this problem help in solving this issue ..

Re: VGA interface problem

I believe this is the configuration issue rather than VGA interface issue.

Please do power cycle for your FPGA board  i.e switch off the board and restart again

Check with other bitstream file .

Re: VGA interface problem

In many cases it was a set up issue,  you haven't mentioned the SW versions.

I would suggest you to use latest ISE and try re-installing JTAG drivers

Please check below links and try if one of the solutions work for you

Hope this helps
