Divide by zero exception

I am working on XSDK 2016.4 and emulating ZCU102 on qemu.

I have set the nineteenth bit in the c1, System Control Register, cortex r5 technical reference manual, (DDI0460D_cortex_r5_r1p2_trm.pdf). However on division by zero no "exception" is raised on division by zero.

I have written  part of code in assembly, but when I view the disassembly, the div instruction is being replaced by ".word 0xe730f110". However the division takes place as I can see the updated values in the registers when I use other values.

I have used -Wno-div-by-zero flag. But that only suppresses the warning. Also I have used to -no-std-libs flag therefore eabi libraries are not linked.

Is there something that I am missing?
