How to know power usage when all the resources in the FPGA are in active ?

Hi Friends, 

How to know power usage when all the resources in the FPGA are in active ?

 

Any help or suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hi @ssampath

You can check the power reports generated in Vivado after implementation completes successfully. Saif based vector power estimation is more preferred over vectorless power estimation as it is much accurate and has actaul toggle and switching of the signals. Refer to UG907 for more info on this.

You can further import these power reports to the XPE to get more detailed power analysis of each resources in the deisgn.
