why UltraScale Memory Resources are 36K?

I know that BRAM stores up to 36Kbits (one 36kb RAM or two 18kb RAMs)

It can figured 32K x 1, 16K x 2, 8K x 4, 4K x 9, 2K x 18 or 1K x 36.

WHY BRAM are 36K, NOT 32K or 30K?

So that you can have parity, to assist with detecting and correcting errors. One bit of parity per byte of RAM. For a 32-bit wide RAM, 32 bits = 4 bytes, so you have an extra 4 bits for parity data. 32 bits of data plus 4 bits of parity gives you 36-bit.
