"invalid path" when selecting a MATLAB installation for SysGen on XP-64

Why, when trying to add an installed version of MATLAB for sysgen on an XP-64 machine does the error message "invalid path or matlab is already selected" (or something similar) get displayed?

What is invalid about browsing to "c:\program files\matlab\r2008a" when MATLAB really does exist there? (because that is where I run it from) (and definitely is NOT already on the list of "available MATLAB installations")

System Generator has not been tested on Windows XP-64 bit and does not claim to be compatible.  I wonder if it is a compatibility issue you are seeing.  Do you see this issue on a 32 bit Windows XP machine?

No - it installs without problems on my 32-bit machines.

SysGen 10.1 does not support WinXP 64bit. This is the compatibility issue.
