Dispaly image on monitor though VGA with nexys 4 ddr3

Here, we are unable to get the original image which was stored in BRAM.It was completely added with noise. The color of the image was changed. It was converted into RGB model even though the input image is GRAY scale image.

Re: Dispaly image on monitor though VGA with nexys 4 ddr3

Hi @jaggu.331,

You are probably mixing the data. Because it is grayscale image, you will have only 1 component per pixel. As the VGA as Red Green and Blue output you need to replicate the same value to all the color component.

Some detail about digital image are provided in my video series 1

No I did not get any answer for the problem I had posted. I had sent code that I had written for VGA controller.

Re: Dispaly image on monitor though VGA with nexys 4 ddr3

Hi @jaggu.331,

I assume you are talking about the following topic?

https://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Synthesis/Probelm-in-displaying-image-on-monitor-through-nexys-4-ddr3/m-p/925811#M29467

Please do not duplicate the topics on the forums.

I am quite sure you have an issue with your timing. How are you generating it? it is not common to have 256*256 frame resultion, where did you get the timing values?

Did you read the video series from the link I shared? What debugging steps did you do?

You will probably not get a quick answer on the forums if you are not getting much information...
