clk_settle User param value in MIPI CSI-2 Tx IP

Jump to solution

We Would appreciate your response.

clk_settle User param value in MIPI CSI-2 Tx IP

In MIPI DHPY {Product Guide 202} Default user parameters in 57 page tells only about HS_SETTLE {8:0 HS_SETTLE_NS R/W 135 + 10 UI} and the default value is 145 ns.
On the other hand, the clk_settle as explained in MIPI_D_PHY specification 548 page requires additional clk_settle param to be initiative.

More information on Clk_settle param will be quite helpful. It's not given in MIPI CSI-2 Rx or Tx product guides.

Thanks.

Hello @daram123

HS-SETTLE is defined in MIPI D-PHY spec, and Our MIPI D-PHY IP is compliant to MIPI D-PHY specification ver1.1

So, I am not sure which information you are referring since MIPI spec has only 121 page.

HS-SETTLE is parameter for RX part, does not matter for TX part.

This parameter control time interval during which the HS receiver should ignore any HS transitions, starting from the beginning of THS-PREPARE.

Thanks & regards

Leo

Hi @daram123,

From the MIPI spec, TCLK-SETTLE should be between 95 and 300. For the D-PHY IP, I guess the default value (135+10UI) was selected to be somewhere in the middle.

Your actual value will then depend on your TX configuration:
