V6 IDELAYCTRL_REF

Jump to solution

The recent update to the V6 DC and Switching Characteristics (DS152 v2.3) includes a change to the Fidelayctrl_ref spec for the -2 parts (Table 52).  It changes from 200MHz to 300MHz.  Do I have to use 300MHz or can I use either 200 or 300MHz for the -2 and -3 parts?  The IO User Guide (UG361 v1.1) says in table 2-6 that the REFCLK_FREQUENCY attribute for the IODELAYE1 is "190 to 210 in all speed grades or 290 to 310 in the -3 speed grade"

I just want to be clear if both 200 and 300 MHz are usable for the faster speed grades, not just 300MHz.

Thanks!

The datasheet isn't very clear on this, but yes.  200MHz and 300MHz are both allowed for the -2 and -3 speedgrades.
