Vitis simple script is failing

Jump to solution

Hello everyone

Really stupid question here but I have this script :

```
set ROOT_DIR [pwd]
platform create -name {platform_project} -hw {$ROOT_DIR/vivado_project/design_1_wrapper.xsa} -proc {ps7_cortexa9_0} -os {standalone} -fsbl-target {psu_cortexa53_0} -out {$ROOT_DIR/vitis_workspace};platform write
```

And i call it like that :

xsct script/build_vitis.tcl

The error I get is :

The hw specification given "$ROOT_DIR/vivado_project/design_1_wrapper.xsa" does not exist.

In other words, the variable ROOT_DIR is not resolved.

What am I doing wrong here ?

Regards,

Thomas.

Can you remove the braces around the variable: -hw $ROOT_DIR/vivado_project/design_1_wrapper.xsa

Or try setting it as an environment variable outside the tool?
