ILA waveform window disabled

Jump to solution

Vivado v2014.4 (64-bit)

I have two ILAs in design. Hardware manager is connected to the board.

Error Message: There is no current wave configuration. You must first trigger and open a waveform before adding probes.

The open waveform for this ILA core button is also disabled as shown in attached image.

WCFG file is not created in the folder location <project_folder>/<project_name>.hw->hw_1->wave

Thanks.

Hi @spencer_123,

It looks like the Waveform canvas has been deleted for some reason.

Could you please try to click on the "Trigger Immediate" button to see if that forces the ILA to collect some data and display it?

If that doesn't help, you can also try to delete all the contents in the <project_name>.hw directory, close the Vivado project and open it again, and reprogram the board. That should force Vivado to recreate all the ILA config files.

Thanks,
