PlanAhead Project and Source Code Repository

Are there any application notes on how use a source code repository with a PlanAhead Project?  There are a lot of files that are created that probably don't need to be in a source code repository.  My particular project has:

- A single MicroBlaze

- Several custom VHDL components

- Source code for generating MicroBlaze .elf

- BRAM init files

In addition, it seems like it would also be necessary to store the actual tools in the repository.  The intent here is to be able to load the tools and the PlanAhead project from the repository and, when its all said and done, be able to reproduce the final bit file for the project... and to be able to repeat it.  In an ideal world one would be able to rebuild the project using an automation tool (Jenkins comes to mind).

Thanks,

bb
