tcl file not resolution

In window command prompt, i change unziped directory following

 

F:/XILINX/JESD204/vio_hwd_2016_3

 

and then type

 

vivado -mode tcl -source jesd204_hwdemo.tcl

 

but error message

vivado is not exectuable program or batch file

 

what is the problem?

The problem is that your shell cannot find the "vivado" executable.

 

Either Vivado is not installed, or your path is not set up to find it. The best way to setup the shell is to execute the settings64.sh script before trying to use Vivado. This is located in the Xilinx install folder (I am not sure where the default is on Linux)

 

source <Xilinx_install_dir>/Vivado/<version>/settings64.sh

 

This will (among other things) set up your search PATH so that it can now find the vivado executable. With this done, you should be able to run the "vivado -mode tcl -source ...." command.
