Chipscope pro not detecting cabel

Hello,

 

I am using Chipscope Pro analyzer on 64 bit Windows 7 machine. When I try to detect Digilent POlatform JTAG USB cabel it gives following error:

However, I am able to burn FPGA using IMPACT tool.

 

Kindly guide me. I tried to reinstall Xilinx 13.4 but, it is still not working.

You can also try with disabling the antivirus.

Syed, there is no antivirus and I have already disabled windows firewall.

Do you have any other devices in the JTAG chain?

Which version of tools are you using? Can you try with ISE 14.7?

we had the same problem the reason was we were using  fpga board manifactured by local manifacturer , the problem was solved when we switched to orignal fpga board by digilent Texas Instruments.

No there are no other devices in JTAG chain. I have only lisence for ISE 13.4. Will a 30 days evalution lisence allow me to use Chipscope Pro?

Yes, ISE Design Suite Evaluation license includes ChipScope™ Pro and the ChipScope Pro Serial I/O Toolkit. Please check below link.

I think I should have mentioned it before that initially ChipscopePro was working before on the same machine. My colleague tried to install a 30 days evaluation lisence for Vivado. Then onwards it stopped working. I thought it is because of that so I uninstalled Vivado but the problem continued to persist. Do you think that installing a software with evaluation version while there was already a software with permenant lisence might have created this problem?
