How to change username without loosing the whole profile?

Hi All,

 

Is it possible to change the displayed name in this forum? how? 

 

Is it possible to change a username while keeping all the rest the profile attributes (subscriptions, bookmarks, etc)?

Hi @robforester,

 

Why didn't you follow the link I gave...

 

We are unable to change your Community Forums User ID due to our Single sign-On (SSO), which is a session and user authentication service that permits a user to use one set of login credentials (e.g., name and password) to access multiple applications and other areas Xilinx.
 
Additionally, it is not possible to completely delete a member from the community in a literal sense. This is due to the fact that removing an account would cause holes in conversations as well as other gaps in data.

 

Option 1

Request your existing Xilinx account to be deleted by filling out the Website Feedback form. After your account has been deleted, create a new Xilinx account, and then request that this ID is associated to your existing forum account by emailing forumadmin@xilinx.com, so that none of your forum history is lost.

Note: All the Licenses, and other details including your Community Forums account are linked to your Xilinx account. Once the account is deleted, you will not have access.

 

Or

 

Option 2

Create a second Xilinx.com account and request that this ID is associated to your existing forum account by emailing forumadmin@xilinx.com.
