OFF TOPIC: recover my username

I apologize for posting this message here but I can't find a proper forum topic.

 

Recently Xilinx forced all old registered users to reset the password. After I did, now when I log into the community forums, it asked me to select a new username because the old one is taken. Yes, the old is taken, by me, it was mine.

So I had to pick a new username, but I have msgs posted under the old username that I don't want to loose.

Can the forum administrators help me recover my old username? They both should be under the same email.

New: Edge301

Old: Edge30

Hello @edge30 ,

The process has not changed. A user’s “new” Forums account can be synced to an old account; however, it does not sync posts, private messages, or any user content. The only thing that it restores is the user's rank and badges.

If you still wish recover your old username, we could delete your old account, so you could retrieve it;

You have mentioned that your both accounts should be under the same email. However, these aren't.
Therefore, since you did not use the same email to register, we would need to check with you to verify your previous email, before we could do that. Can you please send me a private message indicating your 2 different emails associated with your New: Edge301 and your Old: Edge30 profiles?
