VHDL questions -> where to ask?

Hi All,

I have a lot VHDL-related questions... Where to ask them? What the most appropriate section of forum for such questions?

Thank you!

@dmitryl_home

You can post those questions in the Synthesis board.

Re: VHDL questions -> where to ask?

Hi @dmitryl_home,

Thanks for asking. Many customers are using the welcome and join by default. This is better if they use the proper forum.

As @thakurr, I would suggest you synthesis but also Design Methodology and Advanced tools.

From the description of the Design Methodology and Advanced tools forum:

"Discuss the UltraFast Design Methodology, Design Methodology Checklist, RTL Coding styles, Baselining, Partial Reconfiguration and Design Preservation flows, design planning tools and flows."

Regards,

Florent

Re: VHDL questions -> where to ask?

Write a VHDL code for an SR flip-flop with asynchronous enable and reset using ifelse.

Re: VHDL questions -> where to ask?

Wow.  That sounds like a homework problem.

What does your text book say?  How about your instructor?

As to the original question, I do see a lot of questions asked and answered on the ##vhdl channel of freenode.  Just be prepared, after asking your question, to wait a while--not everyone is in the same time-zone.
