Booting a ZC706 from SD/QSPI

Hi, I have a new ZC706 rev 1.2 (0431800-03) here. I'he got the same Problem as described in Post: http://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Xilinx-Boards-and-Kits/ZC706-power-on-issue/td-p/400115. The solution makes the board bootable from JTAG but i want to boot it from SD-Card/QSPI. Is there any other option than changing C6? btw: Does changing C6 affecting the warranty?

Re: Booting a ZC706 from SD/QSPI

I'm sorry that you are running into this and we are working towards a fix for the production shipments, but unfortunately this does not happen all of the time so catching it in the production test environment is not possible.

Replacing C6 is a Xilinx recommended work around and will not violate your warranty.  The alternative is to press the program button after the board has been powered on or return the board to Xilinx as an RMA for a replacement.
