Coolrunner-II CPLD - Files to reflash the Atmel USB controller

Hello Xilinx community,

The recoginition of a XC2C256 device through an USB port has failed. When doing a boundary scan, iMPACT says it doesn't find any device, so its console displays a "check cable setup" message. So far, I have managed to program it successfully using a JTAG connection (Xilinx Cable Platform, model DLC9LP). However, I hope to use the USB port again, like this application report may suggest:

https://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/44512.html

The utility program asks for a data EEPROM file and another file to program the flash memory.

I would like to receive these files if you have them.

Thank you for your attention

Re: Coolrunner-II CPLD - Files to reflash the Atmel USB controller

Almost a year later, I was able to reprogram sucessfully the AT90USB162 interface from the Coolrunner-II board. However, that didn't work as expected. Still, IMPACT error 923 appears. I also followed advice given from this AR: https://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/44397.html. No good.

Then, a quick conclussion of my experience is that the board is damaged.

I think error 923 is linked to connecting the board to a computer with bad USB cables (e.g. chinese ones). I want to confirm this, when I have spare time to check.
