JTAG B Detached

Hi @anatoli 

I'm not sure I should ask you or someone else, but the JTAG B interface on my KC705 is detached. How to handle it? I think I'm still in warranty.

Hello @shengfei ,

As this is in relation to faulty/Detached micro USB port of the board, this is a mechanical defect and not electrical. Therefore, with mechanical defects, I can't really help you in this case.

You'd need to contact the authorised distributor who'd have purchased this kit from and if the board is still under warranty, indeed, they (e.g. Avnet, if this is who you obtain this kit from) can then submit an RMA Service Request for the board replacement.

If the kit isn't under warranty (i.e. >90 days since it was purchased from), Avnet would most likely advise you to contact Whizz systems to get this repaired at your own cost.

Whizz Systems are our contract manufacturer and official Xilinx Design Partner.

They are best placed to repair Xilinx Development Systems Products (Boards and Kits) at the cost of the customer.

I bought this board directly from Xilinx website. Shall I still contact Avnet or someone else? I know it's beyond your responsibility, appreciate your help a lot.
