KC705 sodimm memory test failure

In EDK 14.4, when creating a new project with base system builder, the default width for the on-board sodimm is set to 8 bits wide. The default base address for the memory is therefore 0xA8000000, and high address 0xAFFFFFFF. This default setup passes the built-in memory test. However, when I set it up to use the full 64 bit sodimm memory, and changed the base address to 0x40000000, and high address to 0x80000000, it failed the memory test. Actually, it only passes the test if the base and high address are set to 0xA8000000 and 0xAFFFFFFF, regardless of the width of the memory bus. What did I do wrong? Thanks in advance!
