ZCU111 ADC to DAC test

Hi,

I have a ZCU111 RFSoC Eval board and I want to test the converters accuracy with a signal generator (Vaunix). The aim is to change the frequency of an input signal and calculate the frequency accuracy of converters. 

First, is it possible to do a test ADC to DAC with an external signal and configure an external clock to synchronize the measuring device with the card   (without follow this steps https://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Evaluation-Boards/ZCU111-amp-External-clock/m-p/899079#M19365, (without remove capacitors)?

Secondly, for the maximum resolution of the sampling frequency is that correct to calculate like this :

resolution frequency = fsample / N record ? (for example with a sampling frequency of 3194.88 MHZ and N record = 8192 samples, resolution frequency = 3194.88 . 10 ^6 / 8192 = 390 kHz ? 

and finally is it possible with RF data converter to sample directly a signal with ADC, send it to the DAC and see the DAC output in a signal analyser (ASV R&S for example) ?
