Cordic 6.0 sin cos simulation output problem

Jump to solution

Sin and Cos outputs are somehow wrong.

Input : 00C9  =  0000 0000 1100 1001 =  (1/2  + 1/4 + 1/32 + 1/256) =   0.78515625

cos 0.78515625  is not 1
sin 0.78515625   is not  -0.003

Ignore the question there was an issue on the input, input is signed 2QN not 1QN

@999068709169,

Have you adjusted for the CORDIC scale?  CORDIC's don't naturally output sin and cos, but rather scaled versions of the two.

See here for more background.
