Machine Learning on FPGAs

Jump to solution

Consider the following case: I want to train a neural network using Matlab or Caffe and have just the inference running on a Kintex 7 which works as a part of an embedded system with no other processing capabilities.

So I'm happy to see that Xilinx already has done a lot of work for this "Megatrend" as you can see here on the site of the ML Suite: https://www.xilinx.com/applications/megatrends/machine-learning.html
But this seems to only works on special hardware (cloud, PCIe-acceleration cards).

So are there any libraries, IP-Cores, guides, etc. which can be used if the target platform is "just" a regular FPGA? Maybe I'm missing something?

Hi @jlhx,

You might want to look at our partner DeePhi (http://www.deephi.com/ ). They should have a solution for 7-series FPGA.
